"Ascenseur pour l'échafaud" songs

Ascenseur pour l'échafaud directed by Louis Malle is one of one the greatest films of Nouvelle Vague; I don't like all of them, but this one is a masterpiece. If you like the French or European films you have to see it. Jeanne Moreau is perfect on her character, the camera walks throw a melancholic night, the scenes are precise and the music gives a little more of rhythm to the film. Ah, the music, well, Flickhead made a huge contribution to me and posted 10 tracks from the original soundtrack of the film on Malle content post. The soundtrack composed by Miles Davis is so poetic, so beautiful, you have to listen. Thank you for posting!

That's cool Tore. :)
I saw the film on the cinema, on a special session.

Seems like maybe it will appear on DVD soon after all. Looks like Rialto Pictures have restored it and all their other restored stuff end up as Criterion DVD releases. Who could ask for more? Here is a trailer: http://www.rialtopictures.com/FTP/Zip_elevator/ElevatorTrailer_High.mov

Ahh. This is useful since this is possibly my most favourite soundtrack ever and I cannot find the CD. Wish the movie could appear on DVD soon.
I wonder what my isp would do to me if I posted links to mpIIIs. hmmm.
