(fly)light

(fly)light

(fly)light is an animated electronice sculpture - an animated orb of green LEDs.

Modular and lightweight, (fly)light was designed to hang from ceilings as an interior design accent and can be reconfigured into many different shapes. (fly)light only needs to be plugged in and it is ready to glow.

The sculpture was handcrafted out of 500 LEDs and almost as many feet of wire. The site has some videos, photos, more explanations and a link to the blog The Petri Dish that shows the process of creation. (via we make money not art)
