The BOBs
Select the blogs you like and suggest your favourites to The BOBs - Deutsche Welle International Weblog Awards 2005. It's always a surprise (and sometimes not a good one) who win on this kind of contest, but it's interesting to see what other people are reading.
Any Weblog or podcast in one of theBOBs' nine languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Persian and Arabic) can participate in the Deutsche Welle's 2005 theBOBs - The Best of the Blogs. Have a look at the requirements and suggest as many blogs and podcasts for as many categories as you want.
All the suggestion will be accept until September 30. And if I have to make any suggestion probably I would suggest the blogs that have links on my blog because I can't say just one, I have many favourites.

I don't have anything against that award in particular. It's just that some of them are implemented technically very badly and leave loopholes that allow people to rig the results.
I've seen that happening in some awards and last year on that contest I heard a lot of people saying it was easy to cheat on it.
But I think every award is the same: I love checking the blogs people read and find some new ones.
