For me books are more than a way to discover incredible things, to get whole new world of culture. Books have a story, books make history, books left good memories to us. And the images... ah, I love books with pictures, illustrations, engravings and images of other epochs. Book are art too, as the National Museum of Women in the Arts show in its exhibition The Book As Art: Twenty Years of Artists' Books from the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

The Book as Art will feature 108 artists’ books, by 86 artists, from 12 countries, culled from the museum’s collection of more than 800 volumes. The exhibition closes February 4, but if you can't go, take a look at the on-line version with beautiful exemplars. (via BibliOdyssey)
