Say hi to my new blog: The Dodo Blog - The influence of dodos in the modern culture, in other words, a blog about dodos. Now I have a repository for the dodo stuff that I found and I've been collected in the last months: illustrations, pictures, books, news, links, animations and other interesting information or images with them. That's it.

I do hope you won't forget a mention of the animated classic, "Porky in Wackyland," in which our hero ventures forth into Darkest Africa (part Lewis Carroll, part Dali, all mad), to hunt down "the last of the dodos."

You cannot forget also the books from Jasper FForde, The Eyre Affair and the sequences... All happens in a alternative timeline in the 80's and dodos were brought back to life by cloning and filling up the gaps in the DNA with DNA from other birds. And everybody can have one as a pet :)

Obrigada Beth! Eu já andava pesquisando sobre eles a algum tempo, mas não tinha muita razão para postar por aqui. Bom, nessa última semana não postei em lugar algum, mas precisa ficar longe do computador e dos blogs por algum tempo.
