The London Cartoon Museum

The London Cartoon Museum is open with 3,000 books and 1,200 images. According to Guardian Unlimited, the collection includes graphic novels, comics, posters and some of the most famous cartoons ever published, including Captain Bruce Bairnsfather's image of two squaddies in a first world war trench, one muttering "If you know a better 'ole, go to it." The museum is the result of the efforts that The Cartoon Art Trust is making since 1988 to preserving and promoting the best of British cartoon art and caricature. The site has a small selection of the cartoon collection.
