Marshmallow Shooter

Who doesn't want a Marshmallow Shooter? One more great stuff that you can buy on Think Geek. Funny and yummy.

The Marshmallow Shooter is an excellent addition to the office arsenal, shooting calamitous confections over 30 feet. It is easy to fire and reload, making it perfect for quick attacks (or rapid defence). The Shooter holds up to 20 marshmallows for extended office campaigns, and is capable of rapid fire for laying down cover for coworkers.

The gorgeous Angeline Jolie - very weird in this picture

There is a blog for everything, believe me, there really is. Blink O Rama: a blog with images of blinking famous people.

Dan Krall

Dan Krall: paintings and drawings. I liked her funny-colourful-irreverent style.

Good news about Firefox from Google Blog:

Now Google's faster than ever on Firefox and Mozilla browsers. When you do a search on these browsers, we instruct them to download your top search result in advance, so if you click on it, you'll get to that page even more quickly.

The Blob

This is good: cool, fun and interesting. Believe me, you have to read How To Make Out To A Monster Movie. The tips are great. (via Exclamation Mark)

Sailors watching dancer by Yakov Khalip

The Russian Photography Collection: 1917-1945. Wonderful images by Aleksandr Rodchenko, Max Alpert, Dmitri Debabov, Mikhail Grachev, Yevgeni Khaldei, Georgi Zelma, Moisei Nappelbaum , Boris Ignatovich and other photographers.

The collection was assembled as the Soviet Union tore itself apart leaving a tattered social fabric behind. Organized as a history of 20th century photography of the Soviet Union the collection focuses on the categories: Constructivism/Avant-Garde, Propaganda, Photo-Reportage, War Photography, and Socialist Realism which provide the most effective and complete view of one of the most incredible experiments in human history.

BTW, my favourite session there is this. (via Boing Boing)

L'Hiver

François Houtin: etchings and drawings.

Awarded the important Prix Lacourière in 1981, French artist François Houtin has increasingly attracted the attention of collectors and museums with his finely detailed etchings and drawings. Houtin's subjects are highly imaginative renderings of trees, landscapes, and formal gardens. His work renews the tradition of the French classical garden, with the addition of his personal touch of whimsey and invention.

Son testa son paese, case e gente

Giornale Nuovo has three great entries, as usual, about the Italian graphic artist Giuseppe Maria Mitelli (1634-1718), with many fabulous images. You can read them here, here and here.

Sugar Bush Squirrel - The Supermodel Squirrel

What could it be more adorable, and weird, that a Squirrel with clothes? Well, here it is Sugar Bush Squirrel: Supermodel Squirrel.

Sugar Bush Squirrel is a real, live Eastern Gray Squirrel who is owned and photographed by Ms. Kelly Foxton. Rescued from a tree, she is now living the 'good life' with Kelly in Boca Raton, Florida. A small, lime-green parrot, named Rio, is her big sister and constant companion. Being a Supermodel, Sugar Bush loves to dress up, and has over 1,000 outfits with matching hats and accessories.

She is so cute, but I'm not so sure about Sugar Bush likes to wear those things. And take a look at her new friend. (via J-Walk)

Still talking about Squirrels watch the "classic" Weeeeeeeee! (Gonads & Strife).

Cyd Charisse

Legs - A tribute to Cyd Charisse. Biography, filmography, galleries of pictures and trivia about the woman with the most beautiful legs in the cinema history.

Cyd Charisse was born Tula Ellice Finklea on March 8, 1922, in Amarillo, Texas. Hollywood's greatest dancer of all times first studied classical dancing. She was in the Russian Ballet in Monte-Carlo and worked with David Lichine and Leonid Massine, using the names Felia Sidorova and Maria Istomina. She married her ex-dance teacher, Nico Charisse, in 1939. In 1943, David Lichine asked her to appear in her first movie ballet, in "Something to shout about", in which she is credited as Lily Norwood. The same year, she played a Bolchoï dancer in "Mission to Moscow", by Michael Curtiz. Choreographer Robert Alton and producer Arthur Freed hired her, to dance with Fred Astaire in "Ziegfeld Follies", directed by Vincente Minnelli, and Cyd Charisse then signed a seven year deal with the MGM. "The Harvey Girls", in 1945, by George Sidney and featuring Judy Garland, gave her the opportunity to show her talent as an actress.

Pink Panther

The Pink Panther page:the history, the cartoons lists, music, pictures, the Pink Panther museum and links. Very cool site. (via The Cartoonist)

Yahoo!360°

I'm testing Yahoo! 360°. It seems very cool, works fine, you can classify you contacts in categories and import your contacts from Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Address Book and Microsoft Outlook. It has integration with many, maybe all, Yahoo! services: My Yahoo!, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Photos, Yahoo! Local, Yahoo! Groups and Yahoo! Music.

As all the new social network sites you can create a blog, share cool links or ideas with the Blast, share photos, local reviews, add friends, listen LAUNCHcast music station, create and share lists of your favorite books, movies, music, show to your friends, or everybody your groups on Yahoo!.

Steve Rubel wrote a mini review about Yahoo!360° on his page there, but you can read it also on Micro Persuasion. Read also the initial impression of Yahoo! 360° of Danah Boyd, Marc Hedlund and Clay Shirky reviews.

BTW, the invites are limited to 100 and that is one more reason for just invite people that you know. And that is what I will do. So, if I don't know you I will not send you an invite. Sorry (I had some problems with this on my Gazzag entry). But don't worry, sooner or later someone that you know will invited you. Anyway, you can find me there on my Yahoo! 360° page.

O biscoito fino e a massa

Use a desculpa do endereço novo e vá visitar o Biscoito. Você vai se apaixonar pelos textos do Idelber, se não, pelo menos vai ter muita coisa boa para ler.

Update: a falta de trackback era apenas temporária. Agora já é possível pingar o Biscoito, como farei agora.

Lamia emerges

Cult Vampires: vampire stuff. Classic stories, articles, quiz, new stories, images, vampire fiction and audio version of vampire tales.

Waving Girl

Norm Eastman on the gallery La Luz de Jesus. I think he has some fetish with arrested women with lingerie and nazis, or do I have a distorted vision? Anyway, Sebastian said that his works are hard core pulp and NSFW, and he is right. (via PCL LinkDump)

Kenny, Manga version

Can you imagine South Park as Manga? Well, some Japanese artists did that here and here. It is a curious experience, specially when you see this Manga of Kenny dead. (via Forever Geek)

Update: the first link to South Park Manga isn't available anymore and I have no idea to where the artist moved his works.
