Heidi Taillefer
Heidi Taillefer is a talent Canadian artist that makes some fabulous paintings and drawings.
The recurring theme of Taillefer's paintings over the years has been a blurring of the line between the organic and the inanimate. She painstakingly assembles living things - horses, cherubs, elephants, cats aplenty and the occasional pregnant woman - out of precisely rendered, seemingly incongruous objects.
"Some people try to express an idea in as few words as possible, to be as concise as possible. I was doing the opposite, trying to represent the image with different levels of interpretation based on which elements you look at, at the same time."

Bibi fui lá olhar o site dela, ela trabalha em Montreal ! :-) Fantásticas as pinturas, ao menos na tela do computador, ao vivo não sei se são tão impressionantes porque parecem ser pequenas. é tudo tão carregado, cheio de detalhes, a quantidade de cores, barroco. E o desenho dela é muito bom. Ela trabalha bastante com ilustração e pelo jeito com o Cirque du Soleil. Bela dica, como sempre. Beijão.
